Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (Music from the Original Motion Picture) Bryan Adams Soundtrack 2002; Listen on Apple Music. Listen on Apple Music. EDITORS’ NOTES. Who better to soundtrack an animated epic about a runaway stallion than Bryan Adams? On “Here I Am,” his vocals ache and then soar over a cantering rhythm and galloping guitar.

Stallion

Got to fight another fight – I gotta run another nightGet it out – check it outI’m on my way and it don’t feel rightI gotta get me back – I can’t be beat and that’s a factIt’s OK – I’ll find a wayYou ain’t gonna take me down no wayDon’t judge a thing until you know what’s inside itDon’t push me – I’ll fight itNever gonna give in – never gonna give it up noIf you can’t catch a wave then you’re never gonna ride itYou can’t come uninvitedNever gonna give in – never gonna give it up noYou can’t take me I’m freeWhy did it all go wrong? – I wanna know what’s goin’onAnd what’s this holding me?I’m not where I’m supposed to beI gotta fight another fightI gotta fight with all my mightI’m getting out, so check it outYa – you’re in my waySo you better watch out. Well you think that you can take me onYou must be crazyThere ain’t a single thing you’ve doneThat’s gonna phase meOh but if you want to have a goI just want to let you knowGet off of my back and into my gameGet out of my way and out of my brainGet outta my face or give it your best shotI think it’s time you better face the factGet off my backYou know it’s all just a game that I’m playingDon’t think that you can find a way inThat’s what I’m sayingOh if you want to have a goI just want to let you know. I hear the wind across the plainA sound so strong – that calls my nameIt’s wild like the river – it ‘s warm like the sunYa it’s here – this is where I belongUnder the starry skies – where eagles have flownThis place is paradise – it ‘s the place I call homeThe moon on the mountainsThe whisper through the treesThe waves on the waterLet nothing come between this and meCuz everything I want – is everything that’s hereAnd when we’re all together – there’s nothing to fearAnd wherever I wander – the one thing I’ve learnedIt’s to here – I will alwaysalways return. All of these miles and where have i bin?all of this time that i’ve wastedall of my dreams they’re just gone like the windya – i’ve got to face itthere’s nowhere to go from herestandin’ here cold and shakenhow did i lose my way?on this long lonely road that i’ve takennow that i’ve come to the end of the linenow that i’ve run out of chanceseverything i love – s’bin left behindand i don’t have any answerswhere do i go from here?standin here tired and brokenhow do i find my way?on this long lonely road where i’m goin’gonna be a long lonely road where i’m goin’but i’m gonna get there.
