Hello and welcome to Quakertown Elementary School! Quakertown Elementary School is rich in history. Our building was first constructed in 1928, and it was the original Quakertown High School! Since then it has been used as a junior high school and in 1968 it was converted into an elementary school.
Quakertown gives a home to the student to thrive in for the 4 years of their high school experience. Never will a family find a more tight-knit group of students and teachers than at Quakertown. Friday Night Lights shows beautifully.
Our football games show the unity of athletics (with the football team), arts with our state champion marching band) and the student body (best student section in the district!) as well as our general community! Quakertown pushes the virtue of grit and integrity- driving all students to do their best and to be the better person no matter the circumstances.
Such a virtue produces the best students in the state- ready to take on a harder tomorrow with the assurance and preparation of yesterday! Students are called to practice academic excellence with the broad opportunities of Honor, AP, MCP, and Dual enrollment classes. All of these factors make Quakertown Community School Districts one of the best schools in the country!
Great teachers and staff that care. Decent student body and interactions. Academics are well maintained and encouraged as well as good behavior in the school. Good punishment system set up as well as a rewards system. New electronic attendance system set up that works well to cut down on class skippers. Good environment, and a safe community.
Large variety of courses to choose from spanning from art and dance classes to chefs classes and then higher level classes such as higher level biology, chemistry, anatomy, psychology, sociology, calculus, statistics, public speaking and many more. Administrators are kind and fair. An overall welcoming community. Quakertown Community School District is a very decent district.
With new programs such as Q-Rock being implemented to better culture and attitudes within the district, it is evident that Quakertown is always looking to improve community life in school. They do not value athletics over the arts, with the Quakertown Marching Band being one of the top marching bands in the state with the funding to reflect that.
Quakertown Community School District may lack the diversity of some other large schools, and while there has been some issues, the district is working hard to reduce prejudice feelings and comments within their schools. The administration works well with students and there are always ways for students to get involved in the school.
